Chess Club There are over 132 clubs and societies on offer at MGS in every section the School all run by the students themselves or an enthusiastic member of staff wishing to pass his or her passion for a sport or activity onto the next generation.
If a pupil at MGS wants to start a new club then all they have to do is find a member of staff who will support them and away they go.

Philsoc - our oldest club (1842) has a particular interest in historical and comparative linguistics, and maintains its traditional interest in the structure, development, and varieties of Modern English.
